Chelsea owners recently acquired more shares to own French side Strasbourg.

Chelsea owners who recently got a share percentage ownership at French Ligue one club Strasbourg have once again been slammed by the Strasbourg supporters who believe multi club ownership is dangerous to football. The supporters wrote a statement in a collective manner aiming at Chelsea owners.

“Money without skills leads to nothing good, the example of Chelsea, the so called “big six” brother who spends a lot of money only for a fall in the English hierarchy is a worrying benchmark”

“The incompetence that reigns in Chelsea, we do not want in Strasbourg, multi club ownership is a danger to Football”

Strasbourg supporters chanting against Todd Boehly.

The owners have not received a warm welcome at Strasbourg since their purchase of the club almost 80% of the clubs shares. The owners were booed in their last visit at the club when they attended a match. The supporters believe what has recently happened at Chelsea is a clear indication that multi club ownership will ruin football if money is spent without a skilled and well guided hierarchy. Chelsea have been slammed especially due to their spendings which tallied to one billion in just three transfer windows and having three managers in total in just one year of the Boehly ownership and arising accusations from other premier league clubs on their transfer dealings and also sponsorship deals.

However, Strasbourg being under clearlake ownership it has helped the club in injecting more funds to the club as the club was able to break it’s record in transfers in spending more than €30M euros in a single transfer window.

I witnessed last night that Mauricio Pochettino must cease starting the £50 million player for Chelsea.

Published

on

When the final whistle blew at Stamford Bridge last night, Mauricio Pochettino must have been relieved.

Chelsea defeated Newcastle United 3-2 to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, however they had to work hard in the closing minutes to maintain their lead.
Mykhailo Mudryk, Cole Palmer, and Nicolas Jackson all scored goals to secure victory for the Blues, who displayed glimpses of their greatest play yesterday night.

He was compelled to alter their strategy from their previous encounter with Brentford, which also resulted in the termination of the five at the back experiment.

The manager started Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella down the left-hand side in lieu of Ben Chilwell and the injured Levi Colwill.
The main critique of that pair’s aggressive playmaking may be that almost all of their bright spots came from the other flank, usually as a result of Palmer and Malo Gusto working together.

Though he managed to round the goalie and find himself clean through on goal with the opportunity to kill their opponents, Sterling was only able to score against a guy on the line.
Pochettino ought to defer to Sterling.
The manager eventually substituted him in the second half, bringing Mudryk into the game and altering the formation to let him to play centrally, where he had excelled in the FA Cup match against Leeds United.

When the international player from Ukraine made his way through and scored what ultimately proved to be the game-winning goal, this choice paid off handsomely.

Supporters are starting to lose patience with Sterling since he has missed many opportunities this season, depriving players like Mudryk and Noni Madueke of opportunities.

There are rumors that some members of the club are thinking of selling the England player.
