Samuel Chukwueze have struggled to adapt at his new club.

Samuel Chukwueze completed a €28m switch to Ac Milan from Villarreal, where the 24yrs old signed a five year contract with the Serie A club. Chukwueze who had only one year left in his Villarreal wanted to leave the club for a new experience and Ac Milan was the best destination to continue his development.

Samuel Chukwueze made his senior debut for Villarreal in sep 2018 and went on to make 207 appearances scoring 37 goals. Chukwueze helped his boyhood club win the UEFA Europa league in the 2020/21 season.

Chukwueze will be disappointed with poor start of the season and lack of goals and playing time. Chukwueze has only made one start and four substitute appeareances for Ac Milan since joining from Spanish side Villarreal. He was unused substitute in Ac Milan 1-0 over Verona in the weekend.

Will Samuel Chukwueze secure a place in Super eagles Afcon squad??

Chukwueze will have to put in a fight to retain his place in the super eagles ahead of 2024 Afcon. The likes of Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Moses Simon, Moffi and Taiwo Awonyi are in red hot form at their club and Chukwueze will have to hit the ground running at Ac Milan. Chukwueze already have 28 caps for Nigeria scoring four goals.

Ac Milan have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign   American international winger, Christian Pulisic for a fee around £20M. The 24yrs old will travel to Milan soon to complete his Medical and sign as new Ac Milan player.

Chelsea mass clearance continues as the American international is shown the exit door. Chelsea invested £58M when they signed Pulisic in 2018. After the departure of clubs icon Eden Hazard, Christian Pulisic was brought in from Borrussia Dortmund to replace the Belgian.

On his first season at Chelsea Pulisic registered 9goals and 8 asssits which seemed promising for the then 21yrs old. Constant injuries and fitness problems started slowing down the American talent.

Christian Pulisic was regarded as the next Eden Hazard by Chelsea fans. His dribbling skills and magical movements with the balls was similar to that of Eden Hazard. To justify everything Pulisic was rewarded with the number 10 jersey, which previously was worn by Eden Hazard.

Christian Pulisic was part of the Chelsea squad that won the second Chelsea’s Champions League trophy. He really played a vital role in that champions league scoring against Real Madrid in the Semifinal. Injuries have really hampered Pulisic development at Chelsea.

At 24, Pulisic is far from his prime and still there is much potential. At Ac Milan he is assured of much playing time which would really help him develop his game to another level.
